 * EARLYBIRD TICKETS SOLD OUT*

This summer, FoodCycle are teaming up with Forgotten Feast and eco-chef Tom Hunt to create a sensational pop-up surplus feast in the heart of London.

From June 21st to 24th (Thursday-Saturday 19:30PM-22:30PM; Sunday 3PM-6PM) you can enjoy a three-course banquet at the Fleet River Bakery, home of FoodCycle's first ever cooking session back in 2009. An unforgettable celebration of taste will be created using delicacies that would otherwise be forgotten. From wild foods and ugly vegetables to unusual cuts of meat and fish - and we can cater for veggies and meat-eaters alike.

Tickets are now on sale for £32 and proceeds from the event will go to FoodCycle and to creating other Forgotten Feast events. FoodCycle is a UK charity which combines volunteers, surplus food and spare kitchen spaces to create nutritious meals for people at risk from food poverty and social isolation.

If you have any further questions please contact Eloise from Forgotten Feast at forgottenfeast@gmail.com or Steven from FoodCycle at steven@foodcycle.org.uk or 0207 3778771.

Forgotten Feast

The Forgotten Feast is a collective that supports the ugly, the unwanted and the unloved. It creates an unforgettable celebration of taste that centres itself on the use of wild and seasonal foods, wasted foods and foods that havebeen forgotten or ignored by the modern world.

The people behind The Forgotten Feast believe that the 20 million tonnes of annual food wastage that exists within our society isinexcusable. This wastage can take the form of fresh fish discarded into thesea, unusual cuts of meat unused through lack of demand, and the massivefruit and vegetable wastage right down the line from grower to supplier.
